From May 4th to 8th, 2015, Australians across the country will be living below $2 a day, the international extreme poverty line, for Oaktree’s annual Live Below the Line fundraising challenge.
The Live Below the Line Challenge aims to raise awareness of poverty by challenging Australians to share the experiences of 1.3 billion people by living under the extreme poverty line, while raising funds for Oaktree’s partnerships and projects overseas. To date, the campaign has raised over $7.5 million. This money has gone towards Oaktree’s partner’s projects in Cambodia, Papua New Guinea and Timor Leste.
Individuals and businesses are encouraged to get involved! Further details can be found using the links below.
